Is Enterprise open?
Yes. Enterprise is an essential services provider that remains open to meet critical transportation and personal mobility needs. We are committed and ready to help you get wherever you need to be.
What steps are being taken to clean rental cars?
Each rental vehicle at Enterprise is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed with our Complete Clean Pledge. This includes washing, vacuuming, general wipe down, and sanitising with a disinfectant that meets leading health authority requirements, with particular attention to more than 20-plus high-touch points. We also extend the Complete Clean Pledge to our shuttles (for airport locations) and neighborhood branches.
What is the current car rental process?
To help protect both customers and employees, we have modified our car rental process. This includes the addition of kerbside rentals at our locations to help promote social distancing by getting you quickly on your way while avoiding foot traffic in our locations.
Delivery is also offered at select car rental locations throughout the country. Please contact your rental branch for availability.
Whether you are picking your vehicle up kerbside, or if we deliver it to you, we’re committed to maintaining proper distance throughout the process.
How does car rental return work during the Coronavirus outbreak?
If you are currently renting a car with us, your local branch should be reaching out to you about options to return your rental vehicle. If you have any additional questions or are looking for more information, please call 0800 111 4312.
Can I modify, extend, or cancel my reservation?
You can modify or cancel your reservation via our website or mobile app. We have extended our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us. To extend your car rental, you can click “Call to Extend Your Rental” in our mobile app. You can also call your rental branch or 0800 800 227 to extend your reservation.

With a population of 285,300, Brighton is a vibrant town, known for its cultural and social scene as well as its popular seaside location for superb coastal driving in your Enterprise hire vehicle. Right on the south coast, with stunning Georgian and Regency architecture, Brighton has many sights to see and enjoy. For example, visit the Royal Pavilion or the famous Brighton Pier. The whole family will enjoy Sea Life on the town's seafront. If you're planning a trip further afield in your hire vehicle, you must visit the South Downs and take in Devil's Dyke. The Sussex countryside is also within easy reach, with lots of walks to enjoy, such as around Ditchling Beacon. As well as being a popular commuter town, Brighton is an important business and retail hub. You might be visiting the Hollingbury Industrial Estate in your hire vehicle, for example. For those who love to shop, Brighton is a real treat, with its narrow alleyways full of clothes stores, jewellery outlets and antique dealers. There's also the Churchill Square Shopping Centre, with its large car park for parking your rental car before enjoying the many enticing stores. The Brighton Enterprise branch is just to the north of the town centre on New England Street. It's within walking distance of Brighton Central and London Road train stations, and just a little further from the National Express coach station, which is close to the seafront. The Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch is right on the A720, a main road that runs to the north, east and west of the town centre. In general, traffic in Brighton flows well but it can be busier at peak times, so plan a little extra time for your trip in your hire vehicle at busier times!

Driving Information in Brighton
As with most towns, you can expect traffic to ebb and flow in Brighton, depending on the time of day you travel. The town is served by several major roads, such as the A720 that runs past the Enterprise branch, and the A23 London Road. Brighton has three train stations in total (Brighton Central, London Road to the north, and Hove to the west. The town benefits from several public car parks, such as The Lanes, London Road and Trafalgar Street, as well as from on-street parking. Brighton also enjoys a good local and national bus service, within easy reach of Enterprise Brighton.
